It’s hard to believe it’s been 20 years since one of the most unusual nights in Ukiah history — one that most folks never even knew happened.

20 years ago to the day, a dormant spectral monitoring node activated deep inside the historic Palace Hotel. What followed was a fully-contained Class III paranormal response by the Northern California Ghostbusters, led by Agents Chris and Greg — Ukiah Division.

This entity — now referred to as The Widow of Room 29 — was reported by multiple witnesses in the surrounding buildings, seen silently watching from the window before vanishing without a trace. EMF readings hit 9.2mG. The piano in the sealed ballroom played itself. Lights flickered. Mirrors warped. No press ever covered it. The containment files were locked for two decades… until now.
