Northern California Ghostbusters

Fan-built.
Community Focused.
Ready to believe.

The Northern California Ghostbusters are a community-focused fan group built around creativity, friendship, inclusion, and a shared love of the Ghostbusters franchise.

Who We Are

Northern California Ghostbusters is a volunteer-led fan crew from across the region. We build movie-accurate gear, suit up, and show up for charity drives, community events, and family-friendly gatherings.

Our team brings together makers, prop builders, costumers, electronics tinkerers, photographers, and storytellers united by a love of the franchise and a flair for the slightly weird, in the best way.

Everyone’s welcome here. You don’t need a finished costume or decades of fandom to belong, just the spirit to answer the call.

Our Mission

Our mission is simple: bring the spirit of Ghostbusters to Northern California and put it to work for the community.

Through fan-built costuming, charitable appearances, and family-friendly entertainment, we help event organizers and nonprofits create unforgettable moments while supporting good causes across the region.

We’re a community-focused, volunteer-led organization working toward nonprofit status powered by fandom, fueled by service, and ready to believe.

Our Values

Authentic fandom. We honor the franchise with movie-accurate gear and hand-built props, the slightly weird, done right.

Community service. We suit up to give back, supporting charities, nonprofits, and the causes that keep Northern California strong.

Family-friendly fun. All-ages, all-welcome entertainment that brings a little paranormal magic to every event.

Meet the Crew

Every member brings something different. Together, we build props, create media, attend events, meet fans, and keep the Ghostbusters spirit alive.
